ROBOT FEED BESIDE-THE-PRESS GRANULATORS

Application: The machines in this line are designed to accept the feeding of sprues, runners, or small parts from sprue pickers. Also, these machines offer low infeed height and use minimal floor space. Offering top drop feeding, the machines come in a range of throat sizes from 8"x10" through 12"x16", with a 3-25 horsepower motor. The unique hopper design uses no flaps and allows scrap to fall easily into the cutting chamber while containing flyback.

Performance Features and Benefits:

• Hopper: Tilting hopper and screen cradle for ease of cleaning and service.
• Engineered for quiet operation: All standard granulators feature noise reduction and sound dampening sheet on the hopper.

Optional Equipment: In addition to the options listed on the universal and custom features page, robot feed, beside-the-press granulators can be customized further with:

• Carbide coated screens, cutting chamber and rotor for extended wear.
• Stair-step rotor to process highly abrasive material.
• Zero-speed switch to prevent machine damage in the event of a jam.
• Hardened replaceable wear plates for the cutting chamber to extend chamber life.
• Water cooled cutting chamber for processing high temperature material.
• 2-speed selector switch for quick access to rotor speeds of 200-400 RPM.
