Application: Designed for scrap reclamation of up to 4000 lbs./hour, the 2000 and 3000 series tangential cutting chamber easily ingests such items as 3 liter PET bottles and preforms, 1 gallon HDPE bottles, polycarbonate water jugs, blow molded parts up to 25" square, 55 gallon drums, 5 gallon pails, etc. With throat sizes ranging from 20"x30" to 36"x48", the heavy duty, central granulator line offers optional equipment that allows for the easy feeding of continuous film scrap, sheet, long items up to 10" high like automotive door panels, thin wall pipe, facias, profile, etc.

Performance Features and Benefits:

• Heavy duty construction: Welded steel rotor, cutting chamber, and screen cradle are built to withstand wear and shock loads. Rugged outboard shock pillow bearing eliminates contamination of plastic material.
• Front feed hopper: Offering convenient feed height and available with tray feed height and removable flap design. Operator safety is fully integrated, and the hopper design reduces flyback to a minimum.

Optional Equipment: In addition to the options listed on the universal and custom features page, heavy duty, central granulators can be customized further with:

• Stair-step type rotors.
• Rear feed chutes.
• Combination hoppers for front hand loading, top robot feed, and feed roll attachment for edge trim.
• Blower evacuation equipment to minimize regrind material.
