Founded in 1980 by Merritt "Pete" Tetreault, Granutec came to life on a kitchen table in Central Massachusetts. With a granulator design on paper, Tetreault assembled the first machines in a local garage, and set up a sales office above a local pharmacy.

From these humble beginnings, Granutec has become an award-winning manufacturer of granulators and auxiliary equipment. Five plant expansions later, with a combined 35,000 square foot facility, and boasting a product line that serves all facets of the granulator market, Granutec continues to innovate and grow.
